As our Lord Jesus Christ himself went unto the Cross
for us that day at Calvary to pay the price for our sins.
A sacrificial Lamb who paid the price that was required
for all mankind. Who was the price paid for?
Well for you, why? How? It was 2000 years ago!
Why because originally God created Heaven on earth,
the Garden of Eden. In the garden he created Adam, to
tend to the garden. Adam was without sin, and God visited
Adam every day. But God knew that Adam was lonely, he knew
Adam needed a companion so he created Eve. They were told
they could eat fruit off any tree in the garden. But not to eat off the tree
of knowledge of Good and Evil.
For if they did they would surely die, The serpent tempted Eve,
(Satan), and she took a bite, of the Apple, Adam too was tempted and
also succumbed and fell into sin. The sin was going against what
God has instructed. When we do things we know are wrong we fall
into sin. In Gods eyes a sin is a stain on our soul it separates us from
God. The sin that Adam was tainted with stained all human kind.
So you see the slightest sin stains you and there is no way to remove
it. No matter how good you think you are, you are still stained
and deserving of the penalty of HELL!!.
But all is not lost there is one who can wash away your sin and his name
is Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
How?
John 3:16 For God so greatly loved {and} dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
This is the core verse of the Bible, it states that because God loved us all so
much, he didn’t want any of us to fall into Hell. So he sent his one and only Son,
to die on that Cross, to die not just our deaths, but for the whole of mankind forever.
Through this God reconciled himself to the world and raised Jesus to Eternal Life.
This means, that by believing in Jesus and his death on the Cross for you.
His blood will wash away your sins, and your name will be written in the book
of the Lamb. Not only guaranteeing Eternal Life for you, but bringing you into
a new relationship with God through Jesus.
Pray this prayer from your heart:
Lord Jesus, I’m tired of trusting in myself and my own abilities.
I want to trust in you. I know I am a sinner because
I have broken your laws.
I have done wrong against you and others. I am sorry for my sins.
Please forgive me. From this moment on, I will turn from everything
the Bible calls sin. I ask you to come into my life today.
Take away the guilt and make me pure and
clean in your sight. Be my Lord and Saviour.
I want to live a righteous and holy life. Help me to
Obey you every day for the rest of my life.
Thank you Jesus for saving me.
