What's New ?

What’s new?  You are if you give your heart to Jesus

Today!  (say the prayer on the Jesus is Calling You page)

Start a new life in the Family of God

Jesus Christ came into the world to form a new covenant with us enabling

all who gave their hearts to him, and claimed their forgiveness of sin through his death on the cross, to be cleansed by his blood. Every iniquity or

transgression could be cast from the Father’s mind, and they could then be sanctified righteous, by the Blood of the Lamb, and born again by the

spirit. Unto them was the right given to become adopted sons of God. For as John 3:16 tells us “ that for God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whosoever believes in him should not

perish but have eternal life. God loved us all so much that he gave his only

begotten son, he was prepared to make such a sacrifice for us all.

At Calvary 2000 years ago that price was paid in full. Not just for those who were alive at that time, but for the whole of man-kind, who was, and who is, yet to come and that includes you! It doesn’t take any work on our behalf just a simple prayer. Jesus tells us that he stands at the door of our heart and waits. He waits for that time in our life when we shall seek him, and he is ready to answer when we do. The family of God is made up of fellow Christians who have all accepted the sacrifice of Christ. As Jesus tells us time and time again God is our Father in Heaven.  He loves

everyone equally.  We are all made in his image, and as we accept Christ into our lives we are made a new creation in him.  We dwell in him, and he in us, and we become more and more like minded in Christ.

Christ is the light of the world, and just as that light shines from him that same light can shine from us because we are one body.  The body of Christ is made up of many members, and all of us have a part to play with Christ the head. The love that God has for us is what we should share with one another all that we have, Jesus tells us we are to give to one another, as we would like others to give to us. We are to forgive each other as God has forgiven us Sometimes we find it hard to forgive when we have been hurt so much, but when we pray God can help us. God is love, and love

conquers all.

The love a Father has for his children, is patient and kind, he knows they will fall short and make mistakes, but he is forever there, to forgive and his love is never failing. Jesus also tells us “what father would give his son a stone when he asked for bread, then how much more will your Father in heaven give you.”

“Lord I lift your name on high,

Lord I love to sing your praises,

I'M so glad your in my life,

I’M so glad you came to save us,

You came from Heaven to earth,

To show the way,

From the earth to the Cross,

My debt to pay,

From the Cross, To the Grave,

From the Grave to the Sky,

Lord I lift your name on high”.

The Good Samaritan

Luke 10:25 And then a certain lawyer arose to try (test, tempt) Him, saying, Teacher, what am I to do to inherit everlasting life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom]?

Luke 10:26 Jesus said to him, What is written in the Law? How do you read it?

Luke 10:27 And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.

Luke 10:28 And Jesus said to him, You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live [enjoy active, blessed, endless life in the kingdom of God].

Luke 10:29 And he, determined to acquit himself of reproach, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

Luke 10:30 Jesus, taking him up, replied, A certain man was going from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way, [unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened.

Luke 10:31 Now by coincidence a certain priest was going down along that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

Luke 10:32 A Levite likewise came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road].

Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled along, came down to where he was; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity {and} sympathy [for him],

Luke 10:34 And went to him and dressed his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine. Then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

Luke 10:35 And the next day he took out two denarii [two day's wages] and gave [them] to the innkeeper, saying, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I [myself] will repay you when I return.

Luke 10:36 Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbour to him who fell among the robbers?

Luke 10:37 He answered, The one who showed pity {and} mercy to him. And Jesus said to him, Go and do likewise.
