The Likoni Aids Orphanage and school Project
We appeal for funding for the following project which is being run by Rev Ernest Ombeva The Likoni Aids Orphanage and school.
All funding has previously come through Rev Ernest from the generous donations from well wishers. But in order to move this project forward we are looking to businesses and individuals who can give towards this project. Rev Ernest gives all his time on behalf of the orphans and is a registered member of our UK charity we have visited him on many occasions and can vouch for the good work he is doing on behalf of Orphans in Kenya. But every day they are struggling to remain in there premises as they have to meet rent of over 20000 Kenyan Shillings (KS) per month ( Approximately £150) as well as feed the 48 orphans that live with Rev Ernest. This is managed by himself and volunteers who give there time freely on behalf of the Orphans. Everyday is a struggle with Rev Ernest rising early and having to beg from people for food in order to feed the orphans in his care.
The children sleep 2 to a bed with separate rooms for boys and girls they are taken in from a very early age until 18 years.
They are also schooled locally in which rev Ernest is director.

The LAOP Anzanieo Educational sponsorship Project Rev Ernest is running for poor children and Orphans
To sponsor a child at school for only £20 per month.
These projected costs have been assembled by Rev Ernest and are for the Aids Orphans.
Total cost of renting building alone per year without feeding, clothing etc 240,000 KS (approximate £1800) per year.
But for a gift of 10,000,000 KS (approximate £7500) they would be able to purchase own land and build premises without having to pay rent. But while this is beyond the scope of many anything you can give can go towards the rent or feeding of these children will be a great help.
Rev Ernest does not want to be a burden on people and is looking to start projects that will support the home, Orphans and the school but all these cost money.
Please if you can contribute towards this project for any amount you could make a real difference or the school project as even to fund 1 child's board and education for 1 month is only £20.
In return we will send you a picture of the child and periodic correspondence from us to tell you how he/she is doing.
