Righteousness

The Lord has given me another word for the mission, in that he is the good shepherd who is taking over the shepherding of his flock the Basildon healing mission and the Kenyan mission. He says that we must:-

Matt 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious {and} broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.

Matt 7:14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened {and} compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.

That we must continually seek his righteousness keep ourselves focused on Jesus

Matt 6:33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

We are to live by righteousness

Luke 6:20 And solemnly lifting up His eyes on His disciples, He said: Blessed (happy--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition--and to be envied) are you poor {and} lowly {and} afflicted (destitute of wealth, influence, position, and honor), for the kingdom of God is yours!

Matt 5:6 Blessed {and} fortunate {and} happy {and} spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!

Matt 5:10 Blessed {and} happy {and} enviably fortunate {and} spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!

Matt 5:20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness (your uprightness and your right standing with God) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matt 6:1 TAKE CARE not to do your good deeds publicly {or} before men, in order to be seen by them; otherwise you will have no reward [reserved for and awaiting you] with {and} from your Father Who is in heaven.

What is our righteousness ?

Lets look further into this :-

Luke 6:27 But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you {and} pursue you with hatred,

Luke 6:28 Invoke blessings upon {and} pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God's blessing (favor) upon those who abuse you [who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you].

Luke 6:29 To the one who strikes you on the jaw {or} cheek, offer the other jaw {or} cheek also; and from him who takes away your outer garment, do not withhold your undergarment as well.

Luke 6:30 Give away to everyone who begs of you [who is in want of necessities], and of him who takes away from you your goods, do not demand {or} require them back again.

Luke 6:31 And as you would like {and} desire that men would do to you, do exactly so to them.

Luke 6:32 If you [merely] love those who love you, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? For even the [very] sinners love their lovers (those who love them).

Luke 6:33 And if you are kind {and} good {and} do favors to {and} benefit those who are kind {and} good {and} do favors to {and} benefit you, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? For even the preeminently sinful do the same.

Luke 6:34 And if you lend money at interest to those from whom you hope to receive, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? Even notorious sinners lend money at interest to sinners, so as to recover as much again.

Luke 6:35 But love your enemies and be kind {and} do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting {and} hoping for nothing in return {but} considering nothing as lost {and} despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind {and} charitable {and} good to the ungrateful {and} the selfish and wicked.

Luke 6:36 So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these].

Luke 6:37 Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn {and} pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned {and} pronounced guilty; acquit {and} forgive {and} release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted {and} forgiven {and} released.

Luke 6:38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.

Here comes the blessing verse 35 sums up verses 27 – 34

Then more blessings verse 36-37  released in verse 38 the lord is telling us here the way  we are to others will be measured back to us i.e the merciful shall obtain mercy.

Judge not and you will not be judged etc.

Again in Isaiah

Isa 1:17  learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Isa 1:18  Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isa 1:19  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

If we be willing to do as he desires see verse 1:17

Then again

Isa 58:6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Isa 58:7  Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Isa 58:8  Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall by thy rearward.

And the revelation and confirmation from Jesus again

Mat 25:35  for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;

Mat 25:36  naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Mat 25:37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or athirst, and gave thee drink?

Mat 25:38  And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Mat 25:39  And when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Mat 25:40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.

The scriptures are confirmation to us that we are on the right path, the path of his righteousness I also had a vision tonight of the Lord stood at a door with a lamp in his hand Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears {and} listens to {and} heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. God is going to do something big in this ministry

God Bless
