J.E.F.A.M. CHURCH History

We met Pastor Malova on our first Mission in 2004 to Kenya He was at the time with the then mission leader Solomon Member ( Later removed). The jefam church was initially meeting at the Sparkie school in Mombassa. We were there nearly every day and night preaching and teaching. Pastor Malova worked tirelessly on organising our mission trip around the many churches.

We met pastor Malova and other members of the mission for the first time in April 2004 at Mombassa airport 11pm. We had gone there in faith and neither of us knew what to expect from the other.

The next day we had a marvellous greeting by many at the Sparkie school.

When it came to the message everyone thought we were going to preach about crusades and open air meetings, but no one was prepared for the word God has given us.

We preached on Matthew 25: 31-46 and Isaiah 58. The message to the church was no one was going to come with lots of money to put things right, rather God was looking to them. After the message many hearts were turned and they accepted it willingly. knowing the message was from God. During our visit many churches wanted to join with us and share the vision. The problem was many had been promised money

( By Solomon) and were there for the dollar and not the word of God. When we left there was a huge falling away but JEFAM and others stayed faithful.

Trial by Fire - the 2005 mission

When we returned in 2005 a great cloud hung over the mission and Pastor Malova wouldn’t disclose the reason why he and rev Solomon were no longer together.

We stayed with Rev Solomon who as we later found out almost to our cost fed us lies regarding Pastor Malova. We had a powerful mission preaching on grace and seeing the power of God at work. But we made a big mistake and sided with Rev Solomon.

Only later when we discovered the truth of his lies did we appeal to Pastor Malova for help. Even though he had been cast away he came and rescued us from the hands of Solomon who we cast out of the mission. At this point we closed the mission and returned to the UK.

The return and further cleansing Mission 2007

When we left Kenya, the churches who had been loyal to us, begged our return. By now the faithful ones knew we had no money. To these churches it wasn’t money they wanted, but the blessing that came from the word we preached. It wasn’t only the word, for God seemed to empower our prayers. Where ever we prayed, People were healed, lives transformed, churches and ministry's grew. The churches we wanted were now with us. Not those chasing the dollar but those tried by fire were joining us. Yet still we had a problem in the body. When we arrived we set up a pastors meeting and all the pastors came. Pastor Malova chaired the meeting with us

But what the pastors really wanted was a leader in Kenya. One of the pastors Rahab persuaded us to part with a large sum of money. This was to hire chairs in her church for a service and also to fund the pastors so their congregations travel to the service.

She wanted more money than we had, we gave as much as we could afford and that was the last we saw of her. Even later when we arrived at her church for the meeting she did not show. So at last she was removed just another pastor chasing the dollar. We appointed Pastor Malova as head of the mission as he had been tried by fire and stood by us. He was also well respected by all the other pastors.

In 2006 Pastor Malova and the rest of the Jefam church also shared another part of the vision in the church going back to how it was in the first century as community based. They bought some land outside Mombassa, and all bought plots there so they would live close together. They also erected the church there. We also bought land with them as eventually we want to live with them.

Laying of the foundation stone Mission 2008

We returned to Kenya in 2008 and found the joyous news that Pastor Malova was to be ordained bishop and also Pastor Frank to be made reverend. Both of these men have been tried by fire and are true servants of God. We attended the ordinations and were blessed to be there.

Later we had a pastors conference giving the vision moving forward and firmly backing Bishop Malova as our leader.

God’s word came to me that now the foundation stone was truly laid and now he was about to build His Ministry in Kenya.

God has been faithful through out all this and has raised up many more ministry's along the way which are now part of us. Ministry's in Uganda, western and all over Africa with schools, orphanages etc. They have all become part of the mission under Bishop Malova as well as the original faithful churches who are also with him.

Bishop Malova and the JEFAM church are joined spiritually with us because as Bishop Malova said before he met us all they wanted to do was run a church. But then God bought the increase through his word - to those who are faithful - Amen.
